At the end of this story, the teenage protagonist, Daisy, is writing up her adventures in a school notebook when she’s supposed to be studying in the library. The adventures include spooky ghosts, old curses, near death experience, and an unexpected romance. All set in the maelstrom of senior school life. It made sense that the book cover should mimic the book Daisy is writing.
Here’s the blurb:
‘Curtain Twitching is an art, as Daisy learns when her crotchety old neighbour dies and is replaced by the McKenzie family. Within a week her life is turned upside down by the boy next door, who claims that his house is trying to kill him. The thing is, he could be right…’
Soon to be published by Bread & Butter.
